  2. The trick for playing their rhythm parts at least, is to play through the bridge humbucker max volume and tone on your guitar. Next, switch the amp channel to Dirty, and give it enough gain to break up the signal, but not enough to saturate the speakers.

  4. I was hoping any of my fellow MCR-worshiping guitar nerds could help me out here. I'm trying to pin down what kind of gear Ray was using circa 2004/5 during the Revenge era. Specifically his amp and effects, as I know that even back then he was using Les Pauls loaded with JB's (which I've got).
