Gattaca (1997), O Show de Truman (1998), Anon (2018)… definitivamente, Andrew Niccol se interessa por ideias disruptivas. O Preço do Amanhã (In Time) não foge à regra, e parte de uma premissa que rompe com algumas das estruturas sociais e econômicas que conhecemos.
Sinopse. O tempo se tornou a maior moeda de todas. Os cientistas conseguiram descobrir uma forma de destruir o gene do envelhecimento. Então, quando uma pessoa chega aos 25 anos, para de envelhecer, mas possui apenas mais um ano de vida, a não ser que tenha dinheiro para pagar pelo tempo extra.
