If its to dark in your scene just create a light by going to Create–>Light. Some shortcuts: LMB = Left Mouse Button. RMB = Right Mouse Button. MMB = Middle Mouse Button. Alt + LMB = Press and hold the Alt-Key and the left mouse button. Alt + LMB rotates the camera. Alt + RMB moves the camera forward and backward.
