In Monument valley, we saw John Ford's Point, which is located on a promontory at the top of a very high cliff. From John Ford's Point, the panoramic viewpoint is wonderful on the dazzling sandtone rocks of West Mitten Butte, East Mitten Butte and Merrick Butte!!!

John Ford's Point if one of the most iconic and scenic spots in the Navajo Tribal Park in Monument Valley. It is one of the first places one reaches after heading out on the drive from the visitor centre, either by one's own car (during the permitted hours), or by tour.

17 de jan. de 2018 · O hotel existe desde os anos 30 e era onde a equipe de filmagem de John Ford ficava hospedada para gravar os westerns no Monument Valley. Na verdade, o dono do hotel foi quem teve a ideia de ir atrás do diretor em Hollywood e mostrar a ele que o lugar seria uma ótima locação de faroeste.
