Wingspan : 76-89 cm. Life span: approximately 14 years.

  4. Small, stiff-winged seabird often found in flocks, feeding with gulls and other species around fishing boats. Similar to slightly larger and bulkier Balearic Shearwater (both species occur together locally in western Mediterranean) but more contrastingly patterned, dark brown above and whitish below. Note feet that extend past tail tip.
