  1. 2 de mai. de 2020 · I built a White Heat 10 about 1965. The hull is the same but the cowling is different. (see my WH10 post.) I started this build in April of this year. When was the last time you ran your boat?

  2. 7 de dez. de 2007 · RE: nitro boat white heat v Have you tried to mount a flywheel, and drive collet on your STS .28 marine engine yet? I saw those on eBay, and they have the SG piloted shaft meant for a 1/8 scale car/buggy clutch.

  3. 25 de jul. de 2021 · One is a White Heat V from plans that was in the June 1962 Popular Mechanics magazine. The other one is the same boat with a modern engine and drive train. For the first boat, I have a brand new 50 or 60 year old O&R engine and an original Octura steerable strut.

  4. 18 de nov. de 2014 · I was lucky enough to hook up with a rc boat club and a knowledgeable guy with a box of props helped me figure it out. We ended up with a 3 blade, beryllium Octura prop, not sure of the number.

  5. RE: nitro boat white heat v Thanks for sharing your build-up with us, Jadenico! You kept with it until it was done...sometimes it is too easy to give up on a boat build when things don't go good or hard to find parts but you did it.

  6. 13 de mar. de 2010 · From June 1962, Fintage build article for White Heat V. From June 1962 Popular Mechanics is this build article for a 3/4 hp O&R engine. There are plenty of plans out there but PM is not the usual source for these. I ran across this and thought I wojuld share how it was done 'back in the day...'.

  7. 16 de fev. de 2006 · I have a White Heat V built from scratch as close to the original as I could get it at the time. It has the Ohlsson & Rice Compact III with the Octura water cooled conversion. I have an original steering strut but have not installed it.
