This is a timeline of the Warriors series, starting with The Sun Trail. It is not a summary of books - it is a table that shows when a particular event occurred, so viewers can see the succession of events and calculate how much time passed between two moments, or how old a cat is at a certain point in the books. The Warriors series does not have an established dating system. However, in an attempt to document and organize the timeline, the wiki uses three dating systems, being Ancient, YBF, and simply Year. Please keep in mind that these are not official, only names given by the editors to document the timeline and eras of Clan history.

3.Seeing as the modern Clans' journey from the forest territories to the lake territories, during which they visited the Tribe, lasts less than a season, the Ancients' journey from the lake to the mountains likely lasts around one moon. Dark Whiskers died in an ice storm before the Ancients made it to the Cave of Rushing Water, and there is an ice storm raging outside the cave, so it is implied the Ancients have just arrived.
4.Gray Wing mentions that he and Clear Sky were kits during the last sunny season, implying they had been born the previous year before The Sun Trail is set.
5.Turtle Tail remarks about how much warmer the weather is as she and the other cats begin their journey, revealing that it is towards the end of leaf-bare.
6.Quiet Rain, following Fluttering Bird's death mentions how silly she was to have kits born in the cold season. Anchoring off of page 94, where Turtle Tail mentions the warming weather, Quiet Rain's litter was born early in the cold season.

The Ancients were groups of cats living in the lake territories, long before the Clans moved to the lake. [1] One of these groups would eventually leave the lake to form the Tribe of Rushing Water. [2]
The Warriors universe centers around a large group of feral cats who initially reside in a forest, and later, around a lake. The cats are split into five groups called Clans: ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and SkyClan.
This enchanting world is populated by clans of feral cats living in the wild, each with their unique traditions, laws, and lore. The series is primarily centered around the experiences of a housecat named Rusty, who later becomes Firestar, a brave and noble leader of ThunderClan.
