20 de set. de 2022 · The Walter Rodney Collection is a compilation of materials donated by a number of individuals and institutions. The donations help to broaden the documentation about the life, contributions, influence, and legacy of Walter Rodney.
Container Inventory. Scope and Contents. The Walter Rodney papers span the years 1960–1987, with the bulk of the collection from the period 1970-1979. The collection provides insight into Walter Rodney's life as a scholar and an activist, primarily revealed though his writings and teaching.
Pat Rodney decided only a few years ago to stay in Atlanta, because she remembered that when Walter became seriously ill in June 1974, he was successfully treated in Atlanta. 6 6 London Metropolitan Archives, Information Leaflet no.35, “Researching Walter Rodney in the Huntley Archives”.
His life and writings are well documented. His papers are archived at the University of Atlanta’s Woodruff Center. There is a Walter A. Rodney Foundation in Atlanta that holds annual symposiums and supports research. Notes
