18 de abr. de 2022 · VIP stuck outside the map? In this mission i need to capture or kill the vip, but he is out of the map. I cant target him or use grenades. Help.... Showing 1 - 4 of 4 comments. The bug appear when the VIP is outside the limit of the map in vip rescue mission and therefore unreachable. So I've encountered this ridiculous bug - I cannot save the VIP because they spawned outside of the map. If I abort the mission, I lose contact with one of the regions, is there any way to fix this? I don't use any mods, this just happened in the base game.
6 de fev. de 2016 · Found the solution the spawning from the Soldiers + VIP is bad. All Units than about 9, spawning random anywhere together except the VIP. If the Spawningarea would be variable than this Problem would not exist.
Whenever I pan the camera to try to look at the VIP, the game freezes. Whether it's on turn one from miles away, or whether I'm running right up next to the van to save them, the game freezes as the VIP enters the middle area of my screen. I reloaded, got a new map, and had the same issue (with both bugs, mind you).
I don’t know. We’ve never ever seen hundreds of this same exact question posted here.
