Launched: Unknown. In 1962, Ringo Starr joined The Beatles as the band's drummer (replacing Pete Best) and later released their debut album Please Please Me in 1963. The iconic "Drop-T" logo was designed by drum designer Ivor Arbiter, it was commonly seen in Ringo's drum-kit but it was also used in promotional material and other types of media.
