The Story Books are a mechanic in The Baby In Yellow, first added in the update Bedtime Stories.
Bedtime stories are interactable items that can be used to put the baby to sleep at the ending of the night. The stories get more evil and corrupted the later the night. There are 3 stories:
•The prince and the cat
•The prince and the rabbit
•The prince and the sheep
The main character in these stories is a prince, presumably the Baby because the books call the prince Hastur which is the confirmed name of the baby.
'The Prince and the Cat' is a bedtime storybook that we read to the baby on their first night. It narrates the tale of a cat who reveals a hidden secret garden to the prince. However, as the story unfolds, the prince intentionally wreaks havoc and destroys the once beautiful garden.
'The Prince and the Rabbit' is bedtime story book we read to the baby on the second night. It portrays the longing of the prince to play with a timid rabbit, but the rabbit becomes frightened by the prince's large, red eyes and scampers away. As the narrative progresses, the rabbit manages to successfully escape the prince's clutches, leaving behin...
'The Prince and the Sheep' is the last of the three storybooks read by the sitter to the baby. It is read on the third night of the 'Sheep' chapter and is the only book that is four pages long.
