The Association is an American pop music group. It formed in California, United States in 1965. The group was formed by Jules Alexander, Terry Kirkman, Russ Giguere, Jim Yester, Brian Cole, and Ted Bluechel Jr. They have many popular songs such as Cherish, Never My Love, Windy, and Along Comes Mary.
In 1967, The Association® made history being the first band anywhere to open a rock festival - the now historic, Monterey Pop Festival.. One of the most successful bands to come out of the 60’s, they have sold millions of records, tapes, CDs and DVDs as well as earned a number of achievements including a Golden Globe nomination in 1968 for Best Original Song - Goodbye Columbus.
