Technion Logo. The logo is our symbol; it is identified with us and identifies us everywhere and always. Whether it is an administrative or academic unit, a research institute, or an institutional body – a consistent presentation identifies you with the Technion and differentiates your unit.
The Technion logo, as recognized worldwide today , was first formally introduced on an Israeli postage stamp issued in 1956. The stamp was to celebrate thirty years since Technion opened its doors. The logo was the winning submission of a competition held in 1951, in which more than twenty proposals were presented to the committee
Around 400 outstanding high school girls from across the country participated in the TechWomen2024 event at the Technion. A Project in his Memory. As part of a collaboration between the Technion and Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI), a project dedicated to the memory of the late Captain (res.) Denis Krokhmalov Veksler has been established.

This is how the Technion logo is applied next to a Faculty name – Second-level entities can use their logo, if they have one, as shown in the diagram. If a donor’s name is part of the faculty or center’s name it should be distinguished using a lighter font weight.
The historic Technion building in Hadar HaCarmel – which was designed by the architect Alexander Baerwald (1877-1930) and whose cornerstone was laid in 1912 – was chosen as a source of inspiration in the design of our logo. The logo represents the built heritage.
