It is the only domed stadium in the Northeast and is the largest structure of its kind on a college campus in the country. Since its opening on September 20, 1980, the facility has hosted a wide variety of events.

JMA Wireless Dome. The JMA Wireless Dome officially took over as the name of Syracuse University’s sports and entertainment venue with an announcement on May 19, 2022. Carrier Corporation contributed a $2.75m naming gift over 40 years ago to help build the new facility.
