Prime TC is the result of a thorough product development process undertaken to transform seated patient transport in the hospital. Hospitals are constantly striving to improve patient outcomes, yet a key piece of equipment has gone unaltered since it was patented in 1933. We’re talking about the wheelchair!
MGD and Stryker undertook a research project to establish a new standard for seated patient transport in the hospital. Research discoveries turned into solutions to problems that transcend pushing patients in wheelchairs.
2014. The Prime T.C. by Michael Graves and Stryker Medical is an ergonomic wheelchair featuring obvious touchpoints for intuitive operation, including one-touch foot brakes that reduce strain and prevent injury to caregivers. Stand-assist armrests and flip-up footrests with swing-away functionality maximize access and reduce patient falls.
