What Are the Colors of the Rainbow? When listed, the colors of the rainbow appear in this order: Red; Orange; Yellow; Green; Blue; Indigo; Violet; Sometimes scientists simply refer to this list as ROYGBIV (pronounced Roy G. Biv).
