  2. I too have an old 60's vintage White Heat with on O&R engine. It was built from the Popular Mech plans by a family friend. It has an Octura steerable strut and everything on the boat is in perfect condition. It is a single step hydro, but I don't know which model it is.

  4. 1 de out. de 2010 · 78. Mar 31, 2023. #1. My White Heat 4-60, converted to using a 27 gas motor. Not the fastest, but a bunch of fun boating. This boat was built strong in '70, by a club member: Bill Lewandoski. Mine is the first of two versions he made. When I got it, it had a standard 1/4" shaft inboard drive and rudder.

When he bought it from me I think I included a strudder that Octura made. Don't know if he installed it. It's still a good looking boat. Steve Staples Little Rock, AR

  6. 12 de set. de 2014 · White Heat 4-60. Looking for full size set of plans for an Octura White Heat 4-60 .I have run this hull in the 70's and would like to try it again. Would also like to try to enlarge it to accommodate a 26cc gas motor.

  7. 26 de abr. de 2023 · 29. May 2, 2023. #8. Hi Guys, Two years ago, I built 3 White boats from scratch. Two of them were from the plans in the 1962 June issue of popular Machanics magazine. One of them was made using a new (50 year old O&R engine) and the other was with a modern engine. I also had a steerable strut and made a V-8 stack for it.
