The player is a character with a simplistic smiling pumpkin for a head. They wear a large, purplish, hooded cloak. The player's "face" might be a pumpkin mask, but what's underneath is still unknown. No one knows what the player has underneath their clothes.
The clothes can change at the closet in the wooden house you first start in though it takes the same colorful coins you sell and they don't provide any use other then aesthetics. Speedrunners say it's a waste of time and money, however the option is always available.
The player's story is mostly unknown, all we know is that they live in a wooden house maybe built by the pumpkin themselves but that's still unknown, the house is located within a forest filled with entities of danger trying to kill the pumpkin (the two clowns are less hostile) who buys what the player sells is unknown as it only looks like an endless forest of trees
The crow/raven helps the player at the start of the game waking them up, like an acquaintance. It is unknown why the crow helps us, as they're the only non-hostile NPC in the game.
The only thing that was somewhat personality related was the player's patience and the fact that they somewhat refuse to get out of bed when the crow requested them to.
The pumpkin had the crow to wake them up at the beginning of the game, the player is calm about the situation of being stuck in a forest filled with devilish entities as seen for their patience. It seems like they lack any emotion whatsoever and they do not question a thing about their environment or make any comments.
