Para a quinta temporada de Arrow, os produtores decidiram usar um vilão que não existe nas HQs da DC Comics. Este cara é Prometheus , que parece ser uma espécie de "Arqueiro-Verde Reverso", utilizando apenas a sua perícia com o arco e flecha para derrotar os seus adversários.
Depois de duas temporadas excelentes, a terceira e a quarta temporada da série deixaram muito a desejar, mas tudo mudou com a chegada de um homem que utiliza o nome Prometheus. O vilão da quinta temporada é um cara super violento, intenso e bem inteligente, estas características fazem dele o melhor vilão que Arrow já apresentou na telinha.
