Theo van Doesburg (Utrecht, 30 de agosto de 1883 — Davos, 7 de março de 1931) foi um artista plástico, designer gráfico, poeta e arquitecto neerlandês.
Theo Van Doesburg was one of the founders and leading theorists of De Stijl along with Piet Mondrian, which began in the Netherlands and flourished into one of the major inter-war movements. It advocated a simplified, geometric, and reductive aesthetic in the visual arts and argued that painting, design, and architecture should be fully integrated.
Theo van Doesburg, whose real name was Emil Marie Küpper, was one of the key figures in the development of Dutch Neo-Plasticism in both painting and architecture. A self-taught artist, during the early years he painted in a naturalist and Impressionist style and became influenced by the work of Wassily Kandinsky in 1914.
