A heartbreaking movie, I'm still can't find the words to describe it. Was an uncomfortable and soulless experience that will never forget. A pretty hard film, one of a kind.
That was heavy... There aren’t many words I can think of to describe what a film like “Mysterious Skin” does to a person. The subject material is such a tough pill to swallow, and the film does not shy away from any of it. How does one cope after something so monumentally immoral and traumatic.
I originally put on Scorsese’s Casino because I had never seen it. 15 mins in I’m like fuck I want something light. Put on Mysterious Skin instead. 🤡🤡🤡
