The third section of Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach's campaign (which takes place at 01:00 AM) sees Gregory head to the Atrium for the first time. Here, Freddy will offer him the option of heading to one of two locations: the Loading Dock or the Prize Counter. Here's everything you need to know if you're planning to head to the Prize Counter.

With the Daycare attendant dealt with, Gregory and Freddy can return to the main Entrance Hall. Head down to the fountain on the bottom floor and make your way towards the glass elevator sandwiched between both sets of stairs. A gift will be sitting next to it. Grab the collectable and return to the top of the stairs before hopping into the elevator behind the photobooths.

The elevator will take you down to the Atrium and finally give you a glimpse at the centre of the Freddy Fazbear Mega Pizzaplex. Upon arrival, you'll be jump scared by a roaming robot who will supply you with a map of the area. Once the map's in your possession, you'll have to decide between visiting the Loading Dock or the Prize Counter.

The choice boils down to whether you'd rather run through an arcade while evading Roxy or sneak through underground tunnels to escape Chica. Don't worry, you can return to whichever option you don't pick later in the playthrough. At the 04:00 AM mark, you'll have the opportunity to fully explore the Atrium, meaning you can visit whichever area you skipped.

The following guide will take you through the Prize Counter route, although you can check out the Loading Dock level via IGN's 01:00 AM - Loading Dock Walkthrough.

To begin the Prize Counter strand of 01:00 AM, make your way to the El Chips restaurant on the third floor of The Atrium. It'll be on the right-hand side, guarded by a patrolling security bot. Use Freddy to get near the entrance and then crouch-walk under the shutter. Once inside, save your progress at the save point on the left.

The objective can be found through the shutter next to the cleaning bot in the El Chips area, however, you'll first want to dip into the kitchen area opposite the shutter to find a gift on the counter to the right. Pick it up and head through the shutter ahead.

If you're playing this section later in the game, the following encounter will be short. Freddy will tell you to head to the security door on the right after entering the arcade and you'll wind up in the security room as intended. However, at 01:00 AM, it's much more difficult.

Upon arriving at the security door, you'll realise you don't have appropriate clearance, meaning you have to find another route. Freddy will suggest an alternative, claiming that the shutter doors at the very end of the arcade could be your path to the security room. Unfortunately, a legion of security bots and a very angry Roxy stand in your way.

The best route to success here is to stick to the walls as much as possible, hiding behind arcade cabinets and dipping into photobooths as needed. Roxy will patrol all around the arcade, making her route hard to pinpoint, although there are plenty of hiding spots for you to dip into when you need to check the cameras to find her position.

If she does spot you, use your environment to your advantage. Break line of sight using the photobooths and hide in one. She will sometimes check hiding spots, but it's usually if you've jumped in too early and she has a strong idea of where you are. Meanwhile, If you get grabbed by a security bot, bolt away as quickly as possible. Roxy will appear behind you and your best bet is to dupe her ASAP.

Along the way, keep an eye out for an elevated dining area lit by blue and pink stars on the floor. There will be a bag on a table here that you can grab. With that in your inventory, press on towards the shutter at the end of the arcade. Freddy will tell you that he can't open it, however, there will be a vent into the security office nearby. Hug the wall to the right of the shutter and follow it around to find it.

Once inside, be prepared to crouch-sprint, as a tiny Music Man will drop from the ceiling and proceed to chase you. He can kill you if he catches you, so make sure you're ready to evade him.

Upon exiting the vent, you'll arrive in a security office. There will be two parts to the office: an external room filled with arcade machines and a central room with monitors and shutter doors. After having a look around (and grabbing the bag on the tool bench outside one of the central room's shutters), head into the central office and log your progress via the save station on the wall. Make sure not to grab the office's security badge until you save. Picking it up will trigger a tough encounter that will bar you from saving.

Once you're ready, grab the security badge on the counter. An alarm will sound, the doors will open and both Roxy and Monty will enter the exterior office and begin hunting you. Now, this section can be tough, although there's a simple trick that can help significantly if you're struggling to manage both animatronics.

While you can play this section like a traditional Five Nights at Freddy's game – navigating between both shutters, locking them when an animatronic approaches and ensuring you conserve power – you can also hide for the duration of the alarm. To do this, crouch and back Gregory up against the wall with the save station on it. The animatronics will struggle to see you while hiding here, making the battle a lot easier.

However, if you want to use the doors, the strategy is to sneak between both buttons and only have the doors down when completely necessary. This can be hard to get to grips with at first, but as you play, the pattern will start to make more sense and you'll notice the animatronics rarely attack at the same time. Another good tip is to rely on sound rather than cameras. An animatronic can grab you quickly in such a confined space, so using sound as a measuring tool is a good method for knowing when to lock or unlock doors.

At long last, Gregory will finally be able to leave through the Prize Counter. However, that's easier said than done. Monty and Roxy are still patrolling the area and you'll have to slip past them to escape. Leave the security office and make your way to the red door on the upper left-hand side of the security office. Monty will be outside the red door on the lower left-hand side of the security office, so make sure you exit through the right one.

Check the cameras and wait until Monty is facing the shelving units and Roxy is amidst her patrols around the Prize Counter, then quickly head through the door and go straight into the area ahead of you. Unless he spots you, Monty won't leave his post by the shelves, so now you just have to worry about Roxy.

Luckily, after you enter, Roxy will usually make her way through the shutter to the left and leave you to wander the Prize Counter. When she does, head forwards and look for a bin of basketballs on the opposite side of the room. Next to them should be a gift on a shelf next to some Monty and Roxy plushies.

Now, check the cameras and track down Roxy. She should be circling a large, globe-esque window that looks down into The Atrium. There are two exits on either side of this window. Wait for Roxy to enter one and then quickly head through the shutter she used earlier (it's just behind the elevator). Circle around to the pushchair on the south side of the window and enter it. Once inside, pull up your cameras.

You'll want to wait until Roxy heads down the path to the east, before exiting the pushchair and taking the path to the west. Follow the route all the way to the end and you'll find a gift behind a receptionist's desk. Now, move towards the fire escape in the middle of the route. Freddy will inform you that you can't use it and request you return to the Prize Counter elevator.

Unfortunately, Roxy will block off your path, forcing you to hide in the nearby Parts and Services bin. Wait for Roxy to leave, track her using the cameras and, when you're sure your paths won't intersect, head back to the window area. Use the pushchair to evade Roxy if need be, then use the shutter to the north of the window to return to the main area of the prize counter. The elevator should be just ahead. Enter it to trigger a cutscene and end the mission.
