4 de mai. de 2016 · If only people didn’t bloat up gta5 to begin with, most if not all problem wouldn’t arise. Unless mods are regularly updated to support newer game versions, problems may arise. A large majority of mods when created and uploaded to the internet are all tested on a particular version of gta5.

28 de jul. de 2022 · A game config for the latest patch. (The Criminal Enterprises). I made it because i needed a working gameconfig as soon as possible. Installation through OpenIV: Mods > update > update.rpf > common > data. Drag and drop the gameconfig.xml file into the data folder and you're good to go. Recommended Mods:

Add-on mods in GTA V typically require a modified gameconfig.xml to increase various memory pool limits. This repository serves as a central location for known-working gameconfig files for each GTA V update. Files based on gameconfig releases by Dilapidated on gta5-mods.
The versions folder has a folder for each supported GTA V build number, containing the gameconfig.xml for that game version. For the latest game version, check the releases.
1.Open the Mod Manager UI
2.Go to the download page on lcpdfr.com
3.Click "Download with Mod Manager"
4.The package will be installed automatically
1.Using OpenIV or Codewalker Explorer, open [mods]\update\update.rpf\common\data\
(We recommend using the "mods folder" feature in OpenIV)
2.Make a backup of the original gameconfig.xml
3.Copy in the modified gameconfig.xml
•Heap Limit Adjuster - increases available memory for the game
•Packfile Limit Adjuster - allows more DLC RPFs to be added

This issue is either Script Hook, SHVDN or Menyoo related. Gameconfig just prevents the game from crashing upon installing large car mods and whatnot so it's not likely to fix the issue. But since i don't have this issue i might be mistaking, so you should still try.
GTA V 2944 - San Andreas Mercenaries Update. GTA V version 2944, update from June 2023 for the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC, requires this modified gameconfig.xml, and both the Heap Limit Adjuster and Packfile Limit Adjuster for add-on DLCs to work. Mods with add-on weapons will also require an updated version of the Weapon Limits Adjuster. Assets 3
