Emerson College was founded by Francis Edmunds in 1962 as an education centre for young adults. He felt that people were seeking a more holistic way of expressing themselves, creatively, intellectually and spiritually, free from doctrine or convention.
We develop, practice and teach sustainable ways of working and living through experiential teaching and inner-led change. We support people to flourish personally and professionally by helping them to integrate the spiritual, social and practical dimensions of life and work.
Emerson College, UK was founded in 1962 by Francis Edmunds. It is now situated on Pixton Hill, Forest Row in East Sussex, UK. It was named after Ralph Waldo Emerson , American poet and transcendentalist.
Emerson College is a private college with its main campus in Boston, Massachusetts. It also maintains campuses in Hollywood, Los Angeles , California and Well, Limburg , Netherlands ( Kasteel Well ).
