22 de mar. de 2020 · I love this pack since it made it much easier for me to get all the crucial DOOM WADs in one place. They are a real boon to use with WadSmoosh. I do have problems with it, as it's missing the February 24, 2022 updated WAD for DOOM 64 on Steam.
24 de mar. de 2011 · As a Linux user I do have the option to play Doom 1 and Doom 2 straight using the GPLed version of the game called FreeDoom. FreeDoom comes with a custom wad file called freedoom.wad which is a considerably good remake of the doom game, but still I don't find so funny and bringing memories as the original game.
10 de dez. de 1993 · This method allows you to play Doom with modern controls and improved graphics. Method also works with Doom 2, which has its own page on archive.org (look instead for DOO M2.wad) or any other game made on the Doom engine, but the .wad files for other may be a little bit harder to find.
DOOM1.WAD is the IWAD used by the shareware version of Doom. It is a cut-down version of DOOM.WAD which contains only the first episode. Later on, "Doom 1" became a retronym for Doom after the release of Doom II.
