Celtic Frost (/ ˈ k ɛ l t ɪ k f r ɒ s t /) [1] was a Swiss heavy metal band from Zürich. They are remembered for their strong influence on the development of several varieties of extreme metal [ 2 ] [ 3 ] and for their avant-garde approach to music more generally.
