Maria am Gestade (Mary at the Shore) is a Gothic church in Vienna, Austria. One of the oldest churches in the city—along with St. Peter's Church and St. Rupert's Church —it is one of the few surviving examples of Gothic architecture in Vienna.
7 de mai. de 2024 · The most striking feature is possibly the early 15th-century openwork tower, which marks Maria am Gestade from a distance and often dominates the skyline on old representations of the city. Today, the Redemptorist catholic order runs the church, which has Austrian, French, and Czech congregations.

25 de abr. de 2024 · Catholic Church Maria am Gestade AKA Mary at the Shore, is an interesting Gothic church to visit in Vienna. This church was a short walk from Judenplatz, and I found it easy to find. I really enjoyed visiting and the Gothic features wowed me.
