De acordo com o portal, a Paramount já trabalha num segundo filme, que mostra as aventuras do Transformer na década de 80.

27 de fev. de 2022 · Over three years have passed, and still no official plans for Bumblebee 2 have been revealed, thus raising questions about the title character’s future and why the sequel hasn’t happened yet. It was reportedly in development early on, but plans for it seem to have taken a backseat to other films.
Bumblebee returns as one of the supporting protagonists in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which is set in 1994 and is a sequel to Bumblebee. In the film, Bumblebee is deactivated by Scourge in his battle to steal the Transwarp Key, an artifact capable of allowing his master, Unicron , to travel to Earth.
