Bridget Louise Riley CH CBE (born 24 April 1931) is an English painter known for her op art paintings. She lives and works in London, Cornwall and the Vaucluse in France. [2]

Her work took on a geometric abstraction, in which intricate patterns of black and white and, later, alternating colors were calculated to produce illusions of movement and topography.
