Brackenheim (German pronunciation: [ˈbʁakŋ̍ˌhaɪ̯m] ⓘ) is a town in the Landkreis Heilbronn in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It is 15 kilometres (9 mi) southwest of Heilbronn . With 826 hectares (2,040 acres) of vineyards, it is the biggest grape-growing municipality of Württemberg .
Brackenheim is situated in the Southern district Heilbronn, in the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg and borders on the district Ludwigsburg. You reach Brackenheim easily via A 6, A 81 or B 293 and B 27.
Brackenheim mit seinen Ortsteilen Botenheim, Dürrenzimmern, Haberschlacht, Hausen an der Zaber, Meimsheim, Neipperg und Stockheim liegt etwa 40 km nördlich von Stuttgart und 15 km südwestlich von Heilbronn mitten im Zabergäu, einer rebenreichen Region zwischen Stromberg und Heuchelberg.
