The Diplomat is an American political thriller television series created by Debora Cahn. It premiered on Netflix on April 20, 2023. In May 2023 it was renewed for a second season.
It stars Sophie Rundle as Laura Simmonds, a diplomat living in Barcelona, Spain, who works to protect several British nationals who find themselves in trouble. [2] The series is produced by BBC Studios and World Productions for Alibi. [3] [4] It began airing on 28 February 2023.
