EXID (이엑스아이디) is a South Korean girl group under the label Banana Culture. The group debuted on February 16, 2012. The original five members of EXID were: Solji, LE, Hani, Jeonghwa, and Hyerin. Hani and Jeonghwa left in 2019. The other three members left the agency in March 2020.

Pre-debut
During her pre-debut years, Ahn Hyojin, who goes by the name, 'Elly', has been participating as an underground rapper where she was the only female member of Jiggy Fellaz, a hip-hop crew that had Basick, Sleepy and Simon Dominic as its former members. She was also the rap teacher and a close friend of HyunA.
2012: Debut with EXID
She debuted as a member of EXID on February 16, 2012 with the group's first digital single "Holla".
2020: Departure from Banana Culture
On March 25, 2020, she announced via Instagram that she had terminated her contract with Banana Culture, becoming the final member of EXID to depart from the agency.
