Five Days One Summer ★★ 1982 (PG) Set in 1932, the story of a haunting and obsessive love affair between a married Scottish doctor and a young woman who happens to be his niece. While on vacation in the Swiss Alps, the doctor must vie for her love with their handsome young mountain climbing guide.
In 1932, a middle-aged Scottish doctor named Douglas goes on a mountain climbing excursion in the Alps with the lovely, young Kate, whom he introduces as his wife. In fact, Kate is the doctor's niece, and has been in love with him since she was a little girl.
