Once you choose Hollow, you will spawn into Hueco Mundo and progress to the following types of Hollows.
Fishbone to Menos
To progress from a Fishbone to a Menos, you will have to kill and eat some Fishbones, upon eating a small amount of Fishbones, you will rank up into a Menos, you can also eat a Menos or Adjuchas corpse to instantly rank up (Pressing CTRL + K as a Menos will transform you into a Menoscar, but this is highly unrecommended, as it is very easy to progress to an Adjucha).
Menos to Adjucha
To progress from Menos to an Adjucha, you'll have to eat a Menos, it's recommended to go into the Menos forest but not mandatory, upon killing and eating a Menos, you will rank up into an Adjucha (Pressing CTRL + K as an Adjucha will transform you into and Adjucar).
Adjucha to Vasto Lorde
To progress to a Vasto Lorde from an Adjucha, it's not as simple as the rest, you have to start by getting 25 mask cracks (gained by killing other adjuchas), you will get 2 Mask Cracks per NPC adjucha, up to 5 mask cracks per player adjucha, and dying will make you lose 5 mask cracks. Once obtaining at least 25 mask cracks, you will begin to see colored sentences appear every few seconds on your screen and will hear a constant voice/whispering sound. Your skin will also turn white and your fur will turn red making you an Albino Adjucha. For the second and final step, you have 2 choices. You can either kill another Albino Adjucha OR you can choose to find and kill the Vasto Lorde Boss who you are able to find by following the colored lines that appear around your character. Failing the last step is not a big deal, as you will be set back to a Menos form but you can become an adjucha and regain 25 mask cracks again. Pressing CTRL + K as a Vastolorde will turn you into a vastocar. Note: Consuming 7 Hogyoku Fragments as an Adjucha will turn you into a Vastocar, skipping the Vasto Lorde step. Note: Consuming 9 Hogyoku Fragments as a Vastocar will unlock the ability "Gran Rey Cero" (needs Cero Oscuras). For more information on Arrancars, go to Arrancar.
(CTRL+K) Mask Removal - Transforms you into a Menoscar, Adjucar, or Vastocar when used on the respective evolutions.
(B) Eat (On dead Hollows) - Eats the Hollow allowing you to confirm and kill and/or evolve to a new stage.
•Don't rip off your mask as a Menos, as it is very easy to progress to Adjucha, and menoscars cannot become vastocars, even with 7 hogyoku fragments.
•Vasto Lorde is easier to get when with friends, as they can use medic abilities to heal you.
