The Mayer Multiple is used for technical analysis in Bitcoin investing. It is used in order to determine whether Bitcoin is overbought, fairly priced, or undervalued. The Mayer Multiple is calculated by taking the price of Bitcoin and dividing it by the 200 day moving average value.

The Mayer multiple is calculated by taking the price of Bitcoin and dividing it by the 200 day moving average value. We take this a step further and display various prices that represent ‘bands’ of over and undervalued Bitcoin based on the multiple.
1 de jan. de 2012 · The Mayer Multiple is the multiple of the current Bitcoin price over the 200-day moving average. Simulations performed by Preston Pysh determined that in the past, the best long-term results were achieved by accumulating Bitcoin whenever the Mayer Multiple was below 2.4.
