"Remember Who You Are" is a musical piece composed by Hans Zimmer for The Lion King. It was released on June 24, 2014, as part of The Legacy Collection: The Lion King.

    In the soundtracks

"Remember Who You Are" was initially released on the complete film score as two separate tracks: "Nala & Simba" and "Mufasa's Ghost". However, the album was retracted after one day. On June 24, 2014, "Nala & Simba" and "Mufasa's Ghost" were combined, remixed, and released under the title "Remember Who You Are" on The Legacy Collection: The Lion King.

    In the film

"Remember Who You Are" can be heard from when Simba and Nala walk through the jungle directly after "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" to when Simba decides to return to the Pride Lands through the insistence of Rafiki and his father's ghost.

•The score is, essentially, the uncut version of both "Under the Stars (Score)" and the latter portion of "This Land (Score)", two tracks from the official soundtrack.

  5. The phrase “Remember who you are” carries immense weight, as it serves as a reminder of not only Simba’s true identity but also his purpose and duty. This pivotal moment prompts Simba to embark on his journey back to the Pride Lands, determined to reclaim his rightful place as the King.

  6. "Remember Who You Are" is an instrumental score composed by Hans Zimmer heard on the album, The Lion King: The Legacy Collection. This score is named after one of Mufasa's lines telling Simba to remember that he is Mufasa's son who needs to take his place as king.
