Roaring Roads is a 1935 American action film directed by Charles E. Roberts and Ray Nazarro. It featured three actors from the Our Gang films: David Sharpe, Mary Kornman and Mickey Daniels. It was the second and last film in the series Our Young Friends, the first being Adventurous Knights.
Film shows the empty roads of 1935 America and an improbable plot with some slapstick comedy. Set in sunny small town or suburb wit dirt road and old houses. The racing shows some gorgeous sprint cars and some racing on a banked dirt oval that I can't identify.
Young David Morton, heir to millions, has been over-zealously restrained from normal youthful activities by his two old-maid Aunts, Harriet and Agatha. In an outburst from his confinement, he meets lovely Gertrude, and promises to race her injured-brothers car in the Big Race.

As a programmer, this isn't too bad a little picture either. William Berke knew what he was doing.
