2 de abr. de 2015 · If a traveler is only planning to transit through the United States en route to another country, when he or she completes the travel authorization application in ESTA, the traveler should select "Yes" to the question "Is your travel to the US occurring in transit to another country?".

Re: Is your travel to US occuring in tranist to another country. 7 years ago. Assuming you are travelling on a single ticket, you will not even be entering Australia. You will be a transit passenger only. So even though your flight to the US departs from SYD, you will not have legally visited Australia.

You are a citizen or eligible national of a Visa Waiver Program country. You are currently not in possession of a visitor's visa. Your travel is for 90 days or less. You plan to travel to the United States for business or pleasure.
