22 de jun. de 2024 · Fox McCloud returns in Super Smash Bros. Melee, retaining his role as a starting playable character. He is based on his appearance in Star Fox 64. His moveset has not changed much, but his blaster has been given new properties to be faster but with no flinching power.
Fox McCloud (フォックス・マクラウド, Fokkusu Makuraudo?) is the main protagonist in the Star Fox video games and leader of the Star Fox team. The son of James McCloud, the original leader and founder of the Star Fox team. Fox is an expert pilot and has saved the galaxy from numerous threats.

James “Fox” McCloud, Jr. is a Cornerian fighter pilot, leader of Star Fox and a founding member of the Super Smash Bros. He is the son of legendary pilot James McCloud, the original founder and former leader of Star Fox.
Fox McCloud has appeared in all five Super Smash Bros. games as a default playable character. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl , he is light, has the third-fastest dashing speed in the game, surpassed only by Captain Falcon and Sonic the Hedgehog , and has fairly weak attacks that allow for a number of combos.
