Doom: Annihilation is a 2019 American science fiction action film written and directed by Tony Giglio. It is a reboot based on id Software's Doom franchise and is the second live-action film after Doom (2005). The film stars Amy Manson, Dominic Mafham, Luke Allen-Gale, and Nina Bergman.

Joan with the BFG 9000. Lieutenant Joan Dark is the main protagonist of the 2019 film Doom: Annihilation, portrayed by actors Amy Manson as an adult and Agleya Gumnerova at age 11, with stunts performed by double Dessy Slavova (credited as Desislava Asenova).
The BFG9000 is the ultimate weapon to be found in Doom. It appears as a large, silver metallic gun with a dark gray aperture similar to the plasma gun, and fires large spheres of green plasma.
