    Aldovia is situated in central Europe. It has 2 unconnected coastlines: one in the South-West with the Adriatic Sea and another in the East spanning both the Black Sea and the Aegean Sea.     Aldovia is a constitutional monarchy headed by the King of Aldovia. It also has a prime minster who leads the government and parliament. It is divided into 7 provinces, including Koho.

    Aldovia is over 700 years old. However, many monumental moments in the kingdom's history came in the 15th century. These include the Aldovian-Penglian War, the kidnap of Lady Claudette Lemieux and the poisoning of Prince Claude. Also, sorcery was outlawed in the country in early 1432.

    Penglia

    Penglia is Aldovia's closest ally. Historically, they have fought the Aldovian-Penglian Warover silk road trading routes, which ended with a truce. The peace treaty which ended the war is ceremoniously renewed every hundred years.

    Montenaro

    Aldovia and Montenaroare allies. The King and Queen (along with Princess Elleri) attended Queen Margret of Montenaro's coronation.

    The flag of Aldovia is a vertical tricolour of pale green, white and pale green, with the national coat of arms charged in the centre of the white stripe.

    Aldovia is well known for its manufacture of Christmas decorations. They are a firm favourite with visitors to the country and Aldovian decorations have been seen on Christmas trees as far away as Ohio.

    Aviation

    Aldovia's main airport is Aldovia International Airport.

    Vehicle registration plates

    Motor vehicles in Aldovia carry numerical registration plates. These consist of a two-digit number, followed by a three digit number, separated with a hyphen. Registration plates use black text on a white background. On the left of the plate is the national coat-of-arms on a black background.

    Underground Rail Services

    Aldovia currently has no subway system.

    Aldovia has a tradition of folklore, particular around the theme of Christmas. One of their most famous traditional stories is The Tale of Princess Froon. It is said that in Aldovia, fresh snowat Christmas is a sign of good fortune.

    Whilst once a formative power in the region, these days Aldovia has no standing army and relies on diplomacy with its neighbours to survive.

    Aldovian passports have a red cover with the national coat of arms in the middle. They are issued by the Department of State.
