Robert Clayton Robbins (born November 20, 1957), known professionally as Robert C. Robbins or R.C. Robbins, is an American cardiothoracic surgeon and the 22nd and current president of The University of Arizona.
Robert C. Robbins was the chair of the Stanford Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery from 2005 to 2012. He is the Thelma and Henry Doelger Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery and a pioneer in minimally invasive cardiac surgery.
