Musical artist. Renn McDonnell Hawkey (born March 29, 1974) [1] is an American musician, songwriter, film producer, and occasional actor. He played the synthesizer for the metal band Deadsy, performing on their self-titled debut album (1996) and subsequent releases Commencement (2002) and Phantasmagore (2006).
Renn Hawkey is an American musician and film producer. He was born Renn McDonnell Hawkey in New York City, New York, the third of five children. Two of his siblings are film colorist Adam Hawkey and actress Molly Hawkey. In 2008, Hawkey married Vera Farmiga, with whom he has two children, Fynn McDonnell (b. 2009) and Gytta Lubov (b. 2010).

He later sent a Juno 106 keyboard to his longtime friend from prep school Renn Hawkey (Dr. Nner) as an invitation to join the band. The three members evolved their sound in the studio and sought out a record deal out of, among other things, "adolescent necessity". Sire Records (1996–1999)
She began dating Deadsy musician Renn Hawkey, after being introduced by mutual friend Allen Hughes on the set of Touching Evil. They married on September 13, 2008, when Farmiga was five months pregnant with their first child. She gave birth to a son, Fynn, in January 2009 in Rhinebeck, New York and a daughter, Gytta, in November 2010.
