Paul Heckingbottom (born 17 July 1977) is an English football coach and former player who was most recently manager at Sheffield United. After retiring as a player, Heckingbottom trained as a coach.
Paul Heckingbottom was appointed as manager of Sheffield United on a full-time basis in November 2021 as the successor to Slavisa Jokanovic. The Barnsley-born man began his playing career with Sunderland in 1995, but after failing to make an appearance, left for loan spells with Scarborough, Hartlepool United and Darlington.
Paul Heckingbottom is the manager of Sheffield United FC since November 2021, signing a long-term deal. He played for Manchester United, Darlington, Barnsley and Bradford City as a player, and also managed Barnsley, Leeds and Hibernian.
