The series follows Captain Vincent Corbo, a mercenary and former intelligence officer, who is hired by billionaire futurist Peter Swann and his medical visionary fiancee Grace Davila to investigate the suspected sabotage of his advanced medical satellite.

Season 2. 1978 • 10 Episodes. Season 2 of The Professionals premiered on October 7, 1978. In series two, Doyle is assigned to test a new laser-beam rifle, Bodie's girlfriend is critically injured in a terrorist bombing, and the team go up against a rogue agent.
