호원대학교 (湖原大學校, Howon University )는 전북특별자치도 군산시 에 위치한 대한민국의 사립 산업대학 이다. 연혁. 1977년 12월 3일, 학교법인 정은학원에 의하여 군산공업전문학교 가 설립되었다. [2] 1979년 1월 15일, 전문대학 으로 개편되어 서해공업전문대학 으로 교명을 변경한다. 1981년 12월 31일 시행된 개정된 대한민국 「교육법」에 방송통신대학과 개방대학의 근거가 추가됨에 따라 1984년 12월 8일, 군산개방대학 으로 개편하였다.
