HaKokhav HaBa (Hebrew: הַכּוֹכָב הַבָּא; transl. "The Next Star") is an Israeli interactive reality singing competition, created by Keshet Media Group and broadcast on Channel 2 (from 2013 to 2017) and on Channel 12 (since 2017). It is the basis of the Rising Star franchise.

As was the case between 2015 and 2020, the singer who would perform the Israeli entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 was selected through the reality singing competition HaKokhav HaBa, produced by Tedy Productions and Keshet Media Group, and broadcast on Keshet 12 as well as online via mako.co.il.
Rising Star is an international singing reality competition television franchise based on the Israeli singing reality competition television series HaKokhav HaBa (Hebrew: הכוכב הבא, meaning "The Next Star"), which is produced by Keshet Broadcasting Ltd.
20 de nov. de 2023 · Israel selected their artist for Eurovision 2024 in the talent show HaKokhav HaBa (The Next Star / הכוכב הבא ). The selection had numerous auditions, shortlisting rounds, heats, semi-finals and final. The first auditions were aired on 20 November 2023. The song for Eurovision was selected internally by a committee.
30 de out. de 2023 · HaKokhav HaBa was used consistently as Israel's national selection process from 2015 to 2021, and garnered some very good results for the small nation, including a win in 2018 by Netta with " Toy ." Noa Kirel, internally selected to represent Israel at this year's contest, finished in a very respectable 3rd place with the song " Unicorn ."

Eden Golan has won the chance to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö this May. After the judges and the audience at home voted, Eden was the winner with the majority of the votes.
