George Bruns ( July 3 1914 – May 23 1983) was a composer of music for film and television who worked on many Disney films. He was nominated for four Academy Awards for his work. Bruns was born in Sandy, Oregon and went to college at Oregon State University, graduating in 1936.
Biographie. Il fait ses études à l' Oregon State University 1. En 1946, il épouse la chanteuse et actrice âgée de 17 ans Ilene Woods dont il a trois enfants 2. En 1948, Ilene obtient le rôle-titre de Cendrillon 3. En 1953, Bruns est engagé par les studios Disney pour travailler sur La Belle au bois dormant (1959) 4 .
