Danielle Jo Forrest, formerly known as Danielle Jo Hunsaker (born June 24, 1977), [1] [2] is a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Forrest was previously an Oregon state court judge for the Washington County Circuit Court from 2017 to 2019.

On September 19, 2019, President Donald Trump (R) nominated Forrest to a seat on this court. The U.S. Senate confirmed Forrest by a 73-17 vote on November 6, 2019. She received commission on November 12, 2019.
Danielle J. Forrest is a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit based in Portland, Oregon. Before joining the federal bench in 2019, Judge Forrest was a state trial judge in Oregon. During her time on the state bench, she served as the Chief Civil Judge and the Presiding Judge.
