Christ Church Greyfriars, also known as Christ Church Newgate Street, was a church in Newgate Street, opposite St Paul's Cathedral in the City of London. Established as a monastic church in the thirteenth century, it became a parish church after the Dissolution of the Monasteries.
Greyfriars was a medieval Franciscan priory in Coventry, England. The original monastic buildings were lost in the Reformation; the spire standing on the site today was most recently part of a 19th-century church that was destroyed in an air raid in the Second World War.

Known as the Grey Friars for the colour of their robes, the Franciscans established a monastery on Newgate Street, near St Paul's Cathedral. It was the second-largest monastery in London and drew support from influential patrons.
